J.O.Y. (Just Older Youth) is for everyone aged 50 and over.  We get together

the 2nd Tuesday of each month and once during the summer at 1:00 p.m.  Our

time together usually includes Dessert, Game, Craft, Special Music, Guest Speaker, and

lots of Fun!  In November, December, Easter time, and July we usually have a luncheon,

which starts at Noon.

Our J.O.Y. fellowships are a time for relaxing, enjoying, encouragement, meeting

new friends, and sharing.  The J.O.Y. Team is there to take care of you, love you, and help

in any way they can.  There is never any cost to you.  This get-together is our gift to you.



J.O.Y. is not just for those who attend Greensboro Baptist Church, but our doors are
 
open to everyone in our community.  Wheelchairs and ramp are available on-site for the
 
physically impaired.



Our J.O.Y. Ministry Statement

As servants of our precious Lord Jesus Christ, we purpose in our hearts and minds to unite to be a beacon that shines the love of Jesus to all who enter these doors.  This will be done through prayer, love, respect, joy, practical service, and sharing the Good News of God's grace and free gift of salvation.  We humbly ask our Heavenly Father to help us to "count the days, and make the days count" in the short time in which these cherished souls are entrusted to us.
