Church Planting is not a new concept to Greensboro Baptist Church as the community has planted three churches in the past and has been actively involved in helping to plant The Garden Community in Baltimore.  Fromer GBC youth pastor Joel Kurz has a calling from the Lord to be involved in the lives of those who are struggling in this area, and he, his family, and others are making a huge difference in the lives of many there.  "I am so privileged to pastor, serve alongside, and be the Body of Christ with these amazing Garden people whom God has woven together.  ...  The people at The Garden are regularly seeking out ways to serve and love."
